- 1959: Established in Taiwan
- 1979: Opened USA distribution facility
- 1993: Korean halogen factory established
- 1999: Purchased Ideal Flasher Manufacturing in the US and moved to Taiwan
- 2000: Obtained Korea ISO Certificate
- 2001: Obtained QS 9000 certificate in the US
- 2001: Moved to new facility in Korea
- 2003: Moved to new distribution facility in Lincolnshire, IL
- 2003/2004: Opened new Danyang, China manufacturing facility
- 2004: Obtained Korea TS16949 Certificate
- 2005: Obtained Korea ISO 14001 certificate
- 2005: Obtained China ISO certificate
- 2006: Expanded flasher production in Taiwan to include light modules
- 2007: Moved to new facility in Inchon, Korea
- 2008: Obtained China TS16949 certificate
- 2009: OEM supplier to Hyundai and Kia
- 2013: Opened new Gaoyou, China miniature lamp manufacturing facility
- 2013: Opened new Gaoyou, China halogen lamp manufacturing facility

We Are CEC Industries
CEC industries are a privately owned minority lighting
manufacturer with a global presence. Launched in 1959, our
success and innovation as a light bulb producer in Taiwan
allowed us to expand our business presence to locations in
China and South Korea, in addition to the establishment of
our U.S. headquarters in 1979.
You can find our products in a broad range of applications
across many industries. Our customers include global
lighting manufacturers, OEM lamp manufacturers, industrial
and electronic distributors, aftermarket buying groups and
distributors, national automotive chains, quick lube,
undercar distributors, and national automotive service and
repair groups.
